Snow-covered Boréal, with glowing windows on Christmas night

The case opens on 24 December

The presents are ready.
Santa will not be leaving.

At 22:24, Santa Claus is found dead in his observatory. The sleighs wait in the courtyard. And six people have something to hide.

A time can mislead. A statement can leave something out. It is up to you to make sense of the objects, testimonies and papers he left behind.

To make an accusation, you must understand what happened — and explain your conclusion.

Turn your evening into an investigation

Step inside Boréal.

The observatory, parlour, workshop, archives, post office and glasshouse: six locations to explore, with fresh discoveries across four acts.

Examine the objects.

Twenty-five objects to inspect and twenty-eight pieces of evidence to collect. Share the reading, compare plans and discuss the details others may have missed.

Work out what happened.

Twelve puzzles await: timelines, ciphers, alibis and documents to reconstruct. Shift an alphabet and overlay tracing sheets to test your ideas.

Build your case.

A name is not enough. Establish the motive, method and decisive evidence. Everything you need is in the game; no outside research is required.

Nobody leaves Boréal

Six faces. Six versions of the night.

Find the residents in the rooms and choose your questions. Eighteen exchanges unfold as your investigation progresses. Their statements still need to be checked against the facts.
